Demarini J2 Baseball Bats

This Demarini J2 is a beautiful bat. For the experienced player, this bat's going to provide consistent pop. It actually seems to get a little warmer as it's been hit more. Being used in an open league, the bat is a head above the others being played.

Generally, the boxy look doesn't translate to a traditional feel like this. Rather than feeling like a spaceship, the bat gives a regular swing the extra juice it needs to get past the competition.

At a stance, the Demarini is comfortable and quick going through the ball. Surely, the research put into drag around this has paid off. The sweet spot is immense, and mishits are more likely to stay in play. Some of the other bats on the market, but at a higher pricepoint, are quicker off the head, but this one isn't a slacker.

With above average to good contact, distance and a line true to the swing prove to be a given. It's easy to catch up on pitches with the feel of the barrel. Perhaps psychological, but the bat seems to jump through the hitting zone.

A lot of the more traditional faces feel smoother from stance to follow through, but they don't accelerate like this bat when dropped in the zone. It really feels like the ball is workable off the sweet spot.
Being able to place your shots is a huge advantage in the easy open leagues. For a college caliber player, the potential is unlimited. Really getting to know this style of bat would provide a big step up in the batter's box.
