Easton SCN9 Baseball Bats

The Easton SCN9 bat is one of the best on the market at this price point. It pops lightning quick when struck well, and feels great in the hands. Like most of the high-end bats, the Easton feels lightning fast, but it separates itself from the rest by feel.

The bat really responds to touch for situational hitting. It's so crisp that most hits outside of the sweet spot still felt true. With a jump like that off the bat, it was hard to tell at times how badly the ball was hit on the grip side. Having had plenty of experience with dead bats, the Easton seemed like a huge advantage.

Almost unfair, given the way technology in this area advances from generation to generation. I liked the standard grip as well. Rarely do I go a season without taping down the grip on my bat, but this one feels great on the hands.

Vibrations have been nearly non-existent, certainly not something to complain about. From an appearance standpoint it's tough to argue with the coloring. The standard aluminum look with the logo is nice and not at all overdone.

Basically, in anything less than a really good open league, this bat is going to be the best one in the park. It won't be outdone by anything with this price tag. As usual, Easton produces a great product.

The name has always been one to trust, and certainly no damage was done to the reputation with this one. It's a very good bat for the player who's willing to pay for this type of quality.
